InfraBuild has been recognised on the world stage, taking home the Innovation of the Year award at the 16th annual Steelie Awards hosted by the World Steel Association (worldsteel) in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n
InfraBuild’s win acknowledges the organisation’s commitment to driving sustainable innovation through SENSE 600\u00ae <\/a>our reinforcing steel that delivers the same strength and performance as our standard Grade 500 steel, made from 100% scrap while using 16.7% less raw material and reducing embodied carbon by up to 39%. The award places InfraBuild among a select group of global steel producers recognised for pioneering advances that contribute to a more sustainable future for the industry.<\/p>\n Representing InfraBuild at the event, Tracey Sen, an InfraBuild Executive, accepted the award on behalf of the organisation.<\/p>\n “It’s a proud moment and great honour to see not only Australian innovation recognised at this level, but also InfraBuild,” Tracey said. “This achievement is testament to the creativity and collaboration across our team who continue to push boundaries and find new ways to make steel more sustainable.
