This check is not required for 500 MPa steels and was included for 600 MPa steels as a conservative measure while supporting R&amp;D was still underway.\n\tA calculation method is outlined in a paper by Prof Stephen Foster, presented at the Concrete 2023 CIA conference. A calculator based on this method is being developed and will be published on the SENSE 600\u00ae webpage when available.\nIf you prefer to avoid manual calculations, the requirement can be met by designing SENSE 600\u00ae fitments with the design strength <strong data-prosemirror-content-type=\"mark\" data-prosemirror-mark-name=\"strong\">fsy,f<\/strong> limited to <strong data-prosemirror-content-type=\"mark\" data-prosemirror-mark-name=\"strong\">500 MPa<\/strong>.
