{"id":19171,"date":"2015-01-01T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infrabuild.dev-serv.net\/case_study\/waubra_wind\/"},"modified":"2025-03-12T11:02:16","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T00:02:16","slug":"waubra-wind-towers","status":"publish","type":"case_study","link":"https:\/\/www.infrabuild.com\/case-studies\/waubra-wind-towers\/","title":{"rendered":"Waubra Wind Towers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The&nbsp;Waubra Wind Farm&nbsp;Project in&nbsp;Victoria involves&nbsp;the&nbsp;construction&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;wind farm&nbsp;on&nbsp;rural properties&nbsp;northwest of&nbsp;Ballarat.&nbsp;InfraBuild&nbsp;Construction Solutions supplied&nbsp;BAMTEC\u00ae&nbsp;to&nbsp;Leighton Contractors&nbsp;for the 128&nbsp;heavily reinforced&nbsp;wind tower&nbsp;bases.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The bases&nbsp;were approximately&nbsp;15.5&nbsp;tonnes&nbsp;of loose reinforcing bar.&nbsp;Initially,&nbsp;a&nbsp;couple of the bases&nbsp;were&nbsp;fixed&nbsp;conventionally&nbsp;to&nbsp;determine the difference between&nbsp;using loose rebar and&nbsp;BAMTEC\u00ae.
